He is survived by: his wife Dr. Ileana Anghelina Constantinescu; his son Dr. Alexandru Razvan Constantinescu; his daughter-in-law Dr. Manuela Almaguer Constantinescu; his daughter Dr. Adina Isebelle Ravenswood (Pharm D.); and his grandchildren, Dr. Alexandru Bernard Constantinescu, Ivy Klima and Violet Klima.
His contributions to the field earned him numerous honors, including appointments as Vice-President of the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists and Honorary Member of several academies and professional associations in Europe and beyond.
