She is survived by: her children, Sherrece Smith of Columbia, Tressa Smith of Columbia and Shamande Smith of Columbia; her grandchildren, Shamande Smith Jr. and Karlan Smith; her sisters, Mattie Mae Hill, Surmentha Claybrook, Birdella Young, Roberta Young, Carrie Anderson, Dianna Ross, Sandra Turner (James) and Judy Young; and her former husband Homer L. Smith.
