It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Ann Gatewood of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Johnson and James Alton Johnson; her sisters, Nancy Ann Stevens and Pauline Johnson; her brother-in-law Gerry Marteen; and her nephews, Kenny Johnson and Gerry D. Marteen.
She is survived by: her husband William M. Gatewood (Billy); her children, William Gatewood, Simona Gatewood, Louis Gatewood (Latoya) and Sarina Gatewood; her grandchildren, DeAundre Gatewood, Marrissa Gatewood (Demetrius Young), Louis Gatewood Jr., Kaitlyn Gatewood, Maurina Clark and Bryson Ford; her siblings, Clark Johnson (Betty Estes), Russell Johnson, Frances Johnson, Delbert Johnson, Clara Marteen and Gloria Johnson; and her sister-in-law Finnette Gatewood. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
