She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Wilson Mal and Violet Mal; her spouse Bishop Samuel Joseph Gill; her sons, Ernest Gill and Oliver Gill; and her brothers, Jacob Mal, John Mal and Daniel Mal.
She is survived by : her children, Pamela Gill of Columbia, Ruth Adams (Oliver) of St. Louis, Anita Easley (Eugene) of Columbia, Onam Gill (Rita) of Columbia, Susheel Gill (Ranjoo) of Columbia and Shone Gill (Seema) of Columbia; and her siblings, Stephen Mal (Mona), Joel Mal (Zanobia), David Mal (Joyce), Shanti Peters, Rachel Das and Helen Benjamin. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
