He is survived by: his wife Louise; his siblings, Susan Taeger (Ernst Taeger), Dr. Allen T. Brillhart III (Victoria), Phyllis Roberts (Ron) and Sherry Joslin (Brian); his daughter Rebekah Cooksey (Brian); his grandchildren, Ethan, Ellie and Liam; his son Matthew Brillhart (BreAnna); his grandchildren, Caroline and Theodore; his son John Brillhart (Kathleen); and his grandson Elijah.
He served on the board of the Clara Mary Schaefer Foundation.
