We announce the death of Jane McDonald (Columbia, Missouri), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 82. Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoverson and Shirley Hoverson; and her sister Judy Birkholz. She is survived by: her siblings, Jean Keegan, Bill Hoverson (Carol) and Bob Hoverson; her husband Joseph McDonald; her children, Sally Barry (Jim), David McDonald (Kerry) and Amy Scott (Todd); her grandchildren, Katy McDonald (Ray Cecora), Jack Barry, Claire McDonald (Dylan Dodds), Hannah Barry, Tom Barry, Josey Patterson, Lily Patterson and Tally Scott; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Emily and Sam Cecora. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Millard Funeral Service and Crematory (12 E Ash St, Columbia, MO 65203). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (903 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203).
