He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Kidwell; his father-in-law Andrew Simon; and his brother-in-law Steve Emory. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his father Tom Kidwell (Donna); his mother-in-law Dorothy Simon; and his siblings, Lynette Austin, Scott Kidwell (Stephanie), Wayne Simon (Karen), Melvin Simon (Christina) and Howard Simon (Bobby).
In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be made to Midway Heights Baptist Church.
