We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 78, Jerry Lockett Edwards of Columbia, Missouri, born in Henderson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Malcolm Edwards and Frances Edwards (Shoulders); his former life partner Sharon K. Saffell; his siblings, Donna Ramsey (Richard) and Gene; and his sister-in-law Liz Binder.

He is survived by : his wife Zola Edwards; his children, Stephanie Edwards Avedon of Los Angeles, CA and Abbie Edwards Chapman (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ; his stepson Kevin (Belinda); his grandchildren, Iris Avedon, Navi Avedon, Spirit Avedon, Grant Chapman, Carson Chapman and Reese Chapman; his nieces, Brooke Foster (Clay), Amy Thomas (Mark) and Dianna Montoya (Frank); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan Foster, Avery Foster, Delaney Foster, Regan Thomas Long (Chris), Chloe Thomas and Skyler Thomas; and also Theodore Long.

The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
