It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Cook Broxton of Columbia, Missouri, born in Furman, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Cook and Bernice Long Cook; her husband James Curtis Broxton; and her daughter Denise Slawter. She is survived by: her son Ronald Broxton (Brenda) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Evan Broxton, Sarah Little (Adam), Benjamin Benton, Jacob Watson (Katie) and Katelin Watson (Garrison DeClue); and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Anderson, Lizzie and Callie.
