Joan Myers Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Myers of Columbia, Missouri is shared. Joan, born on February 2, 1933, passed away on June 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Hiser and Naomi Hiser; her husband Richard C. Myers; her sisters, Margie Zimmerman and Janet Eads; and her granddaughter Kimberly Joanne Mallers.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Gilmore (Rick), DiAnne Myers and Robert Myers (Amy); her grandchildren, Justin Mallers, Paul Mallers (Jenny), Scott Mallers (Madelin Hunsberger), Chelsea Myers (Josh Wright) and Haley Myers (Russell Durham); her great grandchild Sammy Mallers; and her sister Dorothy Albert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
