He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Giesler and Catherine H. Giesler; and his brother Raymond Giesler. He is survived by: his wife Carol Carpenter; his children, Catherine Wilder (Kevin) of Columbia, MO, Mary and Mark; and his granddaughters, Lauren Patterson (Jason) and Allison Thomas. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
