He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cady, Sr. and Goldie Cady (Koch); and his sisters, Abby Brown, Goldie Homolos and Henrietta Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Betty of Columbia; and his son Mark of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania..
