She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia "Jenny" Evans and William "Bill" Evans. She is survived by: her husband Stephen "Steve" Black; her children, Barry Black and Monica Sergent; her grandchildren, Jacie Black and Carys Black; and her siblings, Jim Evans, Nancy Price, Marla Storm and Carl Evans.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Columbia First Assembly Church (1100 N 7th St, Columbia, MO 65201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Columbia First Assembly, located on North Seventh Street in Columbia.
