He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel "Pete" Megown and Marie Megown; his brother Herschel "Sonny" Megown; and his niece Kathy Megown. He is survived by: his spouse Kaye Cokely; his sisters, Dorothy Davidson (Megown) and Rita Jones (Larry) of Centralia, MO; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Megown. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
