She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Alisa McDonald-Warren of St. Louis and Carla Johnson (David) of Columbia; her sister Rubye Helen Jackson of Shreveport, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Johnson, Harold "Trey" Warren III, Haleigh Jones and Reece Warren; and her great grandchildren, Tristin Cowgill-Warren, Cole Jones and Kamdyn Johnson.

Mary's warm and accepting manner was encouraging and assuring to us. Her knowledge and expertise provided solid guidance for us. She was a stellar example for her students as well as fellow faculty and staff. I have so much gratitude for Mary's influence in my life. My prayers for Alisa, Carla and your families will continue.”
