He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marylu Amantea Dear; his parents, Michael F. Amantea and Felicia Amantea; his sons, Michael J. Amantea (Amanda) of Columbia, MO. and Matthew D. Amantea (Julia) of Richmond, VA.; his grandchildren, Magnus, Emmett, Marshall and Nolan Dear; and his sister Rafaela "Ann" Blum (James).
