He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Shipe-Grindstaff-Zimmerman and Emma J. Shipe-Grindstaff-Zimmerman; his brother Gary Grindstaff; and his granddaughter Loretta Mast. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Grindstaff; his children, Misty McKee (Charles), Curry Poole (Andy), Levi Waggoner and Anna Mast (Ben); his siblings, Doug Grindstaff, Kirk Grindstaff (Debbie), Tim Zimmerman, Candace Palmer and Bethany Hall (Brad); his sisters-in-law, Alison Moore, Bobette Toalson (Dennis) and Robin Grindstaff; his grandchildren, Olivia McKee, Cassey Dahl (Hunter), Zach Poole and Mikel McKee; and his godson Brett Woods. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockbridge Church of God (3515 Valencia Dr, Columbia, MO 65203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
