She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wesley Charles and Mildred Elizabeth Charles (Simmons); and her brother Marvin Wesley Charles. She is survived by: her husband J. Wayne Merrill; her daughters, Martha Merrill-Ellebracht (Daniel) of O'Fallon, MO and Amanda Merrill Thiele (Jeremy) of Ashland, MO; her grandchildren, Jasper Thiele and Toni Thiele; and her brother Larry Charles (Cathy) of Marshall, MO. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
