She was predeceased by: her parents, David Shaw and Josephine Shaw (Berra); and her brothers, David Shaw, Jr. and Richard Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Y. Ashman, Jr.; her children, Laura (Steven Jolna) of Beverly Hills, CA, Sarah Ashman (Mark Bendel) of Columbia, MO and Joseph Ashman (Sarah) of Silver Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Henry and Lee of Columbia, MO; her son Lucas of Silver Spring, MD.; her brother Donald Shaw, Sr. (Elizabeth) of Hazelwood, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Shaw of Creve Coeur, MO and Harry Niemann of Holland, PA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
