He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Collins and Willie "Ruth" Collins; and his sisters, Patricia Brown, Evelyn Collins and Jeanette Collins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Collins, Andrea Collins and Melvin Collins Jr.; and his children, Stephon Peterson, Alaina Collins and Alana Collins. He is also survived by his children, close family, and friends.
