He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Meyer and Laurel Meyer (Doremus); his daughter Tonya Wilson; his granddaughters, Stephanie Wilson and Krista Schulte; and his brother Walter Meyer Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Janet Meyer; and his children, Thomas A. Meyer (Linda), Julie Schulte (Randy), Timothy Meyer (Beth), Teresa New and Tracey Meyer (Lori). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.
