With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Earl McCloskey of Columbia, Missouri, born in Morgantown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse McCloskey and Golda McCloskey (Johnson); his son John Robert McCloskey; and his stepson-in-law Brent Young. He is survived by: his wife Erma S McCloskey of Columbia, MO; his daughter Katie Mims (Jason); his sisters, Judy Cross (Terry) and Kathie McCloskey; his stepchildren, Dennis Palmer (Nancy) and Rhonda Young; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jackson and Parker; his stepgrandchildren, Amber (Lance), Krystal (Paul) and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Landyn, Palmer, River and Koltyn.
Memorial donations can be made to the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.
