We are sad to announce that, on July 15, 2022, at the age of 100, Robert Frederick Ernest Piest (Columbia, Missouri), born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Piest and Edna Piest; and his siblings, Luella Clubb and Melrose McClenathan. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Laurel Coffman (Kenneth) of Buckeye, AZ, Karen Blumer (Stephen) of Columbia, Elena Barton (Dean) of Eugene, OR and Linden of Yuma, AZ; his grandchildren, Ben Coffman (Lori), Jeanette Coffman, Jeffrey Blumer (Katy), Max Barton and Lily Barton; and his siblings, Walter Piest, Shirley Jensen, David Piest, Sheila Wilcox and George McClenathan. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church where he and Jean were long-time, faithful members.
