She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brasfield and Alice Brasfield; her former husband James H. Viggers; and her siblings, Elizabeth Melinsky, Mary Alice Wheatley and McCollum Brasfield.

She is survived by: her children, James McCollum Viggers, Amy Gillis, Saralinda Bauer, Andrew and Samuel 'Sam Viggers; her grandchildren, James, Andrea, Drew, Matthew, Caylee and Sairus; and her children-in-law, Mark Bauer and Vicki Viggers.
