Ruby Darlene McCown Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Darlene McCown (Columbia, Missouri), who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruby is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruby's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Burnett and Norma Burnett; and her husband Robert McCown. She is survived by: her sister Marilynn S. Jett of Columbia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
