She was predeceased by: her father Orville Wiechert; and her husband Garry Karas. She is survived by: her mother Fannie Wiechert; her sister Lou Ann; her nieces and nephews, Joe (Stephanie), Scott (Shawnta), Leah and Sharlene; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Zain, Rylan, Lloyd, Braden, Hannah, Paige, Aurora and McKenzie.
