Sharon Vieth Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 70, Sharon Vieth in Columbia, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Scheppers and Helen Scheppers (Knaebel); her sisters, Agnes (Henry Weiberg) and Nancy (Harold Jaegers); her father-in-law Joe Vieth; and her siblings-in-law, Gil Massman, Bernie Forck, Ronnie Vieth and Julie Scheppers.
She is survived by: her husband David Vieth; her son Wesley Vieth (Patricia); her grandchildren, Madelyn and Mason; her son Nicholas Vieth (Brooke); her grandchildren, Olivia, Gavin and Jordyn; her son Joseph Vieth (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Lilly, Avery and Carter; her siblings, Larry (Paula Scheppers) of Jefferson City, Ginny Massman of Linn, Tom (Diane Scheppers) of Jefferson City, Marian Forck of Wardsville, Franny (Butch Schell) of Wardsville, Bob Scheppers of Jefferson City and Carol (Tom Backes) of Jefferson City; her mother-in-law Helen "Sugie" Vieth of Wardsville; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce (AJ Rackers) of Linn, Karen (Paul Holterman) of Taos and Amy (Brad Robinett) of Jefferson City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Capitol Projects.
