He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Key and Gwendolyn Mae Hatton; and his siblings, Timothy Wayne Key and Lisa Smith. He is survived by: his wife Tiffany Engel; his siblings, Thomas Key of Columbia, Kevin Key of Columbia, Vincent Key of Columbia and Shatana Harris-Key of Columbia; his children, Daylin Key of Columbia, Braxton Key of Iowa, Malicki Key of Columbia, Alicia Key of Columbia, Atiya Key of Columbia, Tatiana Key of Columbia, Isabella Key of Columbia, Maleigha Key of Columbia, Zariaha Key of Columbia and Shelicia Key of Columbia; and his nieces and nephews, Terrell Newsom, Tyler Newsom, Roger Key, Jessica Newsom, Tiffany Newsom, Iesha Newsom and Oceana Key.
