She is survived by: her children, Dean Messmer of Cape Girardeau, Scot Messmer of Douglasville, GA, Deb Gerecke Columbia (Mike) and Lisa Niswonger Gordonville (John); her grandchildren, Jennifer Heuring, Steven Messmer, Julie Drury, Mark Gerecke, Joe Niswonger and Kali Francis; her great grandchildren, Halle, Lacy, Cooper Heuring, Benjamin, Samuel Drury, Owen, Eli Niswonger, Colton and Elizabeth Francis; and her brothers, Rodney Strop of Germantown, TN, Jim Strop of Sikeston, MO and Bill Strop of Chiefland, FL..
