She was predeceased by: her parents, Sathyamurthy Iyengar and Jayalakshmi Prativadi Bhayankaram. She is survived by: her spouse Sri M. R. Srinivasan; her children, Kesavan Srinivasan (Geetha), Hema Srinivasan (Dale Cutkosky) and Mythily Srinivasan (Thyagrajan Venkatesan); her siblings, Babu Srinivasan, Ramanujan, Ranga, Krishna, Chellananayanan, Vedantam, Madhuram and Rukmini; and her grandchildren, Ashok (Janet), Maya, Anish, Harini and Vasudharini.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made directly to Hindu Temple and Community Center (Shanthi Mandir), Ronald McDonald House or Rainbow House.
