He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hardnock and Mary Hardnock (Stall); and his sister Sharon Hugelman of Lincoln Nebraska. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Oltmann; his children, CJ Hardnock (Alisabeth) of Staunton Illinois and Stella Hardnock (Gus Aslanidis) of Columbia; and his grandson Colin Hardnock of Staunton Illinois.
