William left this world on July 13, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Tiny" Roberts and Berniece Roberts; his in-laws, Laurence Bledsoe and Merlene Bledsoe-Gray; his brother Jackie; his siblings-in-law, Pat Roberts and George Palmatory; his daughter Rebecca Coleen Roberts; and his grandson Joseph "Joey" William Bryant.
He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Kathleen (Tom) of Sturgeon, MO; his wife Cheryl Roberts of Columbia, MO; his sister Martha Sue Palmatory of Moberly, MO; his daughter Cindy Bryant (Kent) of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Becky Rosenboom (Charles) of Columbia, MO, Stephanie Brumage of Land, Kayla Smith (Ryan) of Kansas City, MO and Cody Bryant of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchildren, Baine Helm, Brynlee Brumage, Blake Brumage, Jr. and Bentley Brumage; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Shawn, Kiara and Jonathan Rosenboom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel (411 Union Ave, Moberly, MO 65270). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
