He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Jerriet Wright and Carolyn Jean Wright (Young); and his siblings, Richard Wright and Saundra Wright. He is survived by: his daughters, Christina James (Brian) of Morley, Alisha Pierce (Tyler) of Scott City, Stephanie Fought (Gene) of Martinsburg and Lindsay Maupin of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Jonah James, Noah James, Jacob James, Lauren Johnson, Destani Brown, Trae Hennecke, Jayden Pierce, Jaclyn Daniels and Maddox Maupin; and his siblings, Cleo Wright of Commerce and Vicki Carroll (Rod) of Commerce. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel - Scott City (115 W Hickory St, Scott City, MO 63780). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
