He is survived by: his sons, Allen Phillips (Christina) of Sweet Springs, Robert Phillips of Emma and Scott Phillips (Sindy) of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, Trevor Phillips (Kendra) of Marshall, Emily Phillips (Nathan Brock) of Sedalia, Wade Phillips of Columbia, Remus Phillips of Lee's Summit and Cora Phillips of Lee's Summit; and his siblings, Maxine Charles (Ruthie) of Lee's Summit, MO and Steve Harms (Marcea) of Golden, MO..
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel (1002 E 1st St, Concordia, MO 64020). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO 64037).
