As Geraldine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Geraldine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Geraldine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenz F Bodenstab and Irene Hamm Bodenstab; her son Bruce Hartwig; and her brothers, Robert Bodenstab (Dorothy), Everette Kirchhoff (Carol) and Ray Bodenstab.
She is survived by: her children, Bret Hartwig (Valerie), Sandra Elwell (Craig) and Brian Hartwig (Emilie); her daughter-in-law Janis Shisler; and her sister-in-law Kathy Wills. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, over 40 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (401 S Main St, Concordia, MO 64020).
