He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard James Strahle and Esther Gerken Strahle; his sister Lenora Jean; his brother-in-law Wilbert Freund; and his niece Ellen Esther Freund.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Heins Kirchhoff; his stepsons, Brett Kirchhoff of Alma, Todd Kirchhoff of Higginsville, Gregg Kirchhoff of Warrensburg and Jody Kirchhoff of Raymore; and his brother Roger Strahle of Concordia. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (2069 State Hwy KK, Concordia, MO 64020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Saint Matthew Lutheran Cemetery (2069 State Hwy KK, Concordia, MO 64020).
