He was predeceased by: his son Allen Wayne Cordes; his wife Linda S. Cordes; and his parents, William Cordes and Frieda Cordes (Schumacher). He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Clark (James) of Lee's Summit, MO and Nancy Breneman (Daniel) of St. Charles, MO; his brother Wallace Cordes (Betty) of Castle Rock, CO; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Bradley and Molly. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; niece, nephew and step-children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (401 S Main St, Concordia, MO 64020). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery - Concordia (401 S Main St, Concordia, MO 64020).
