He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward Meadows and Hazel Ella Meadows (Welsch); and his siblings, Robert Meadows (Bob), Eugene Ellis Meadows, Gary Ted Meadows, Larry Ned Meadows, Mary Ruth Meadows, Doris Janet Simpson (Meadows) and Bonnie Gale Hankins (Meadows).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wayne Meadows (Brenda) of Tyler, Jason Lynn Meadows of Orlando, Julia Ann Brown (Frank) of Freeport and Ronnie Meadows (Joyce) of Farmington; his close friend Norma Whitehead; Terry Hunter (Vanessa). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, he requested memorials be made to a local Humane Society.
