He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ellis and Janice Ellis (Sheffler); his stepmother Betty Jean Ellis; and his daughter-in-law Shannon Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gier; his children, Trinity Head (Damien), Holt Ellis, Maddison Ellis and Kennedy Ellis (John Beem); his grandchildren, Zaylah, Zaidyn, Zuriah, Zephyr, Liam, Annabelle, Emma, Daniel, MaKynnah, Reed, Sofia, Everleigh and Zoella; his siblings, Roger Ellis (Colleen), Diana Pollard, Rick Ellis (Stacey) and Ross Ellis (Amy); and his adoptive son Connor Cowden. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
