With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald Schneider of Cosby, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schneider and Clara Marie Schneider (Heller); and his brother Roger Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Marla Jean Schneider (Schnuelle); his children, Mark Schneider (Susan), Wayne Schneider (Jean), Kari Maag (Jim) and Shelly Higgins (Mark); his siblings, Larry Schneider (Vicki) and Linda Schneider; his sister-in-law Barbara Schneider; his grandchildren, Dustin, Travis, Jacob, Lindsey, Leah, Kasey, Andrew and Trevor; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Allie, Landon, Macy, Ridge, Reed, Flynn, Audrey, Riley and Avery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Oakridge Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope United Church of Christ (19999 State Rte W, Cosby, MO 64436).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hope United Church of Christ of Cosby, Missouri or Oak Ridge Cemetery.
