He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Kurz and Adele Kurz; and his sister Sydney Downing. He is survived by: his brother Hal Kurz (Teri); his nieces, Ashley Ciechomski and Mercedes Rassmussen (Mike); his nephew Travis Downing (Gladys); and his aunt Joy Liss (Jay).
