He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Teaney and Jewel Petitt. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Petitt; his children, Melissa Sigrist (Tim) of Savannah, MO, Cassie Petitt (Cole Taylor) of Savannah, MO and David Petitt of Cosby, MO; his brother Gary Petitt; and his grandchildren, Zane, Wess, Tessa, Domaniq, Emily, Lilly, Kaylee, Taylor, Wyatt and Aze.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (22625 Co Rd 274, Cosby, MO 64436).
Memorials are requested to the Willie Petitt Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
