Jim Hayes Obituary

Jim Hayes, born on September 7, 1934, passed away on October 2, 2026. Jim leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick Hayes and Stella Hayes; and his brother John E. Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret; his children, Jimmy Hayes (Julie), Johnny Hayes (Sandy), Tommy Hayes (Ann), Michael Hayes (Krista) and Maureen Lovette (Kris); and his grandchildren, Ryan (Erin), Cullen (Danielle), Ashley (Steve), Kyle, Allie (Joe), John (Abby), Lauren, Cayley, Riley (Cam), Molly, Maggie, Brennan, Stella and Owen. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center (5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Charles, MO 63304). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Dardenne Catholic Church (7701 Town Square Ave, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Backstoppers Inc. in honor of Jim.
