He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McHugh and Betty McHugh; and his sister Beth Ann. He is survived by: his spouse Gail; his children, Matt McHugh (Jen), Jen Dawson (John), Tim McHugh (Haley) and Brian McHugh (Annie); and his siblings, Steve, Kevin, John, Peggy, Dan and William.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church- O'Fallon (403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366).
