Wies (Pfaff); his spouse Loraine Gertrude Loeffler; his children, William "Bill" Wies, Patricia "Patty" Estill and Mary Wies; his daughters-in-law, Carroll Wies and Patsy Wies; his siblings, Delores Merz, Ruth Ellen Boehle, Mary Ann Conoyer, Betty Suellentrop, Marge Collins, Ginny Behlmann, Gerry Wies and Mike Wies; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Loeffler (Olevia) and Otmar Loeffler (Marlene).

He is survived by: his sons, Ron Wies (Jenni), Larry Wies (Colleen), Steven Wies and Dick Wies (Luanne Brunello); his sisters, Geri Sachs and Terry Smith; his children-in-law, Mardell Wies and Terry Estill; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Wies, Helen Iffrig (Calvin) and Lonnie Collins. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
