We announce the death of William L Halbrook (Cottleville, Missouri), who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 79. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester and Harriet (Bowen); and his brother Bradley Halbrook. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Schneider); his daughter Cynthia Greifzu (Scott); his grandsons, Samuel, Owen and Elijah Greifzu; his brother Rodger Halbrook (Anita); and his sister-in-law Linda Korell (late Loren).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center (5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Charles, MO 63304). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (7800 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63114).
In lieu of flower donations to Vietnam Veterans of America or charity of choice in memory of Larry would be appreciated.
