We announce the death of Glen Franklin Hooton (Crane, Missouri), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Hooten-Hudson and Ruth Hooten-Hudson (Wright); his stepfather Loyd Hudson; his brother David Kay Hooten; his son-in-law Lafe Rinker; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Bassett, James Garner, Norma Hooten and Adelmira Garner (Vera).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Garner; his children, Robert, Valerie Hooten and Angela Rinker; his nephew Howard Mason; his grandchildren, Dustin Hooten, Jess, Blake Hooten, Samantha, Bryston Hooten, Josie, Ada Rinker, Laken Rinker, Erika Noble, Cory, Austin Bolek and Sidney; his great grandchildren, Kaysonn Hooten, Weston Hooten, Radlee Hooten, Avery Hooten, Cade Hooten, Ayden Noble, Waylon Noble and Laikyn Noble; his siblings-in-law, Janet Bassett, Genese Garner and Joe Garner (Gina); and his nieces and nephews, David R. Hooten (Donna), James M. Bassett (Michelle), Grant Bassett, Jon Bassett (Jenny), Justin Bassett, Airin, Jerry Garner (Candy), Scott Garner (Jenny), Sheila Graves, Karmeta Rienhart, Terri Keele (Nick), Lynn Dvorak (Rob), Leigh Lemaster, Deny, Ann Warren (Robert), Elizabeth Garner and Heather Garner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Westrip Chapel (39670 MO-413, Crane, MO 65633). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
