She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordell Byrd and Agnes Byrd (Richards); her stepfather Melbourne King; her brother James Byrd; and her siblings-in-law, Tammy Byrd and John Haxton.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Hill Jr. (Jennifer) of Euless and Vance Hill (Mandy) of Cuba, Missouri; her grandchildren, Breanna, Genesis, Joey and Brody; her great grandchildren, Rosie, Brayden, Avah, Julian, Kodi, Nellie and Maggie; her brothers, Brent Byrd (Janice) of Bourbon and Barrie Byrd of Leasburg; her cousins, Jeanie Byrd of Sullivan and Judy Pryor of Leasburg, Missouri; her close friends, John Piwowarczyk of Cuba and Ann Piontek of Cuba; and her half-sister Ellen Haxton of New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers, friends are requested to plant a tree in memory of Elaine.
