He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett R. Brand and Edath M. Ackfeld (Gilliam); his daughter Jeania Brand; and his siblings, Ronald Brand and Janet Wilhite.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Josephine Dabrowski of Cuba; his sons, James F. Brand, Jr. of Cuba, Gerald Brand (Julie) of Cuba and Jeff Brand (Kimberly) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Steven, Mikel, Ian, Adam, Danielle Brand, Justin Quisenberry and Heather Long; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Vincent, Brody, Leana, Liam and Kenlea; and his brother Richard Brand (Judy) of Nixa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Holy Cross Catholic Church 415 W. School Ave. Cuba, Missouri 65453.
