With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Stewart of Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dorf and Maude Dorf; her sister Joan Lee; and her husband Robert "Bob" Stewart. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Alan Stewart (Julie) of Louisville and Roger Alden Stewart (Stacy) of Owensville; her siblings, Roger Dorf (Sandy) of Dallas, Texas and Emily Mosher (Woody) of Cuba; her aunt Frieda Workman of Cuba; her sisters-in-law, June Albrecht of Cuba, Nancy Fisher (Don) of Arizona and Marilyn Stewart of Cuba; her grandchildren, Nicholas Stewart (Brittany) of Louisville, Alexander Stewart of New York, Samuel (Morgan) of West Plains, Benjamin Stewart of Owensville and Joyce Gidinghagen (Jacob) of Owensville; and her great grandchildren, Judah Gidinghagen, Ezra Gidinghagen and James Wells Stewart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cuba United Methodist Church (903 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Inurnment Meramec Hills Cemetery (4243 State Hwy ZZ, Cuba, MO 65453). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wallace House (605 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453).
